The recruitment of seven thousand police officers begins in two days in all district centers.
The exercise aimed at absorbing new officer to the police force ahead of the elections targets Kenyans between 18 and 30 years. Other qualification requirements include a mean grade of C plain in KCSE, no criminal conviction or any pending criminal cases and a complete application form available at the centers.
