Moroccan director Nabil Ayouch's "Les Chevaux de Dieu" won the 12th Mediterranean Film Festival of Brussels on Saturday (November 17th), MAP reported.
Jury president Serge Riaboukine said the film about the 2003 Casablanca bombers was "masterfully staged". The movie examines the social and cultural factors that led 14 boyhood friends to commit Morocco's worst-ever terror attack.
"Les Chevaux de Dieu", which also received the Prix Francois Chalais at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, hits theatres in February.
