Angola: Minister of Justice Satisfied With Performance of Benguela Province Government

Cubal — The minister of Justice and Human Rights, Rui Mangueira, last Saturday in Cubal Municipality considered positive the performance of Benguela Province government, which has focussed on creating conditions for the development and modernization of infrastructures of justice in the province.

The government official, who spoke to the press at the end of a visit to Cubal Municipality to learn about the situation in the sector that he leads, said he was pleased with what he found in the municipalities of Benguela, Lobito and Cubal regarding the intervention of the provincial government in improving infrastructures for the justice sector.

He noted that within six months, a new structure will be available for the population in the municipality of Ganda.

With regard to Cubal, Rui Mangueira announced that within 15 days the Justice Building will start operating, now properly rehabilitated, modernized and equipped with necessary conditions to correspond to the new challenges of the sector.

During his stay in Cubal, the justice minister, who was accompanied by the deputy governor of Benguela for economic matters, Agostinho Estêvão Felizardo, visited the temporary location of the Court, the BUE One-stop Shop and the courthouse.
