Liberia: Cellcom Extends Facilities

Cellcom GSM Company has opened a new center for customer care but staff assigned in that office will undergo training to upgrade their skill, the management of the Cellcom said, adding that the center with brand new equipment will run a 24-hr service.

Cellcom Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Avishai Marziano cut the ribbon to the facilities on Friday, saying technology, economic resources, organizational structure, innovation and timing have contributed to the success of Cellcom.

He said most of the company's philosophy, spirit and the drive of each of the staff has assisted the company to reach its achievement.

"After successfully launching our 4G Network service, we are now starting a new chapter," Mr. MAziamo added.

He said eight years ago since Cellcom was introduced here, it has broken the monopoly of telecommunication industry in Liberia and the company has achieved market leadership in product innovation, mobile broadband data services, office solutions, customers satisfaction and loyalty.

The company, he said, has also succeeded in putting cell phones in the hands of over 1,000,000 Liberians from throughout the country.
