The executive head of the L'Agence Francaise Development said the agency will place all its financial and consultative capabilities at the disposal of the Egyptian partners for improving the standard of living, facilitating the performance of public services, developing infrastructure and encouraging small and medium scale projects.
He added that the French Agency singed recently with International Cooperation Minister Dr. Ashraf Al Arabi the plan of action of the agency in Egypt from the years 2012 till 2014 which included the agency's support in various fields, topped with creating job opportunities, supporting the private sector, improving standard and conditions of living in addition to developing agricultural products and per capita income in the rural areas.
He affirmed that the French aid to Egypt reached, in 2012, more than €400 million, a matter which indicates the positive developments in relations between the two sides after the January 25th Revolution.
A delegation of chairmen of 20 French companies arrived in Cairo Sunday18/11/2012 to review new projects to be implemented in Egypt.
