Ghana: Classroom Blocks for Three Kwabre East Communities

Two 6-unit classroom blocks have been constructed and commissioned for the Asante Gyapong Roman Catholic primary school at Aboaso and the Kenyase D/A Primary School in the Kwabre East District by the Member of Parliament (MP), Kofi Frimpong.

The Sarfo D/A Junior High School also benefited from a three-unit classroom block.

The projects were funded through the MP's share of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund).

Mr. Frimpong said, at the separate commissioning ceremonies, that the projects were his contribution towards promoting education in the area.

At Aboaso, Nana Gyamera Pinsan II, Queenmother of Aboaso, cut the tape to declare the six-unit classroom block for the Asante Gyapong Roman Catholic Primary School commissioned.

She commended the MP for his contribution towards raising the fallen standard of education in the district.
