Ethiopia: Prime Minister Hailemariam Holds Talks With Iran's Foreign Minister

Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn also met and held talks on Friday (November 17th) 012) with Ira's Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Ali Akbar Saleh.

Discussions covered bilateral and regional issues. During the talks, the Foreign Minister said that his country was keen to boost its bilateral relation with Ethiopia. The two parties agreed that the 6th meeting of the Ethio-Iran Joint Ministerial Commission which was established in 1999 should be held in Tehran.

The Minister came to Ethiopia to extend his government's condolences over the death of late Prime Minister Meles Zenawi.
