Sudan: Gunmen Attack Injures One Displaced

Khamsa Dagiq — Unidentified gunmen attacked camp Khamsa Dagiq, in Zalingei, Central Darfur wounding a displaced woman who is now in a hospital for treatment, a camp activist told Radio Dabanga.

The attackers reportedly stormed the camp via the south main gate at 8pm on Saturday, 17 November, and fired several shots. The displaced Hanan Bakheet Adam Abdullah got wounded as she was on her way to her neighbor's house, the source recounted.

He added UNAMID was informed about the attack 'right away', but that when the mission arrived at the camp it did 'nothing more than to write a report' about the incident.
