Kenya: Four Soccer Fans Killed in Crash

Four football fans died and more than 30 others were injured after their vehicle collided with a trailer at Bora Bora on the Malindi-Lamu road in Magarini district on Saturday night.

The Kola Beach Football Club fans were returning home after watching a match between their team and Hope football in Marereni. Survivors said the trailer was swerving to avoid a pothole when its tail hit the canter behind it leading to the accident.

One died on the spot, two died at Gongoni Health centre and the fourth was pronounced death upon arrival at the Malindi District Hospital.
