A BVR kits use training in Embu West on Saturday suffered lack of quorum after the IEBC declined to reimburse travel expenses and pay allowances.

The training which was scheduled to take the whole day demonstration on the BVR method was expected to take the whole day at the Manyatta Youth Empowerment Centre ended at 1pm. A spot check by the Star found a few youth with the trainers sitting idle at the centre.

"Many people have stayed away from today's exercise after learning about the recent meeting during which the invited participants were not paid their allowance," said a resident.
