Kenya: Youth Asked to Register for Polls

Human Rights Agenda lobby group has asked the youth at the Coast to register as voters in large numbers. Hura's programme officer Eric Mgoja said the youth will have the biggest say in the leadership of the Kenya if they register in large numbers.

Speaking to the star in Kilifi on Saturday, Mgoja said the only way to end historical injustices associated with the Coast is by voting in credible and responsible leaders.

"We have for a long time complained that we have been sidelined. We now have a chance to liberate our province through our votes," Mgoja said. The voter registration begins today and will end on December 19.
