The unfortunate death more than 40 members of the police service in Baragoi, Samburu county has more brought to fore operational challenges and the casual manner we treat safety and protection of uniformed officers.
The killings occurred as a study by the Usalama Forum reveals the underlying problems in the sector. The report says reforms in the police have so far failed the test, especially as they have not improved the safety and security of the officers.
