Kenya: Club Founder Seeks Land for Tree Planting

President and founder of the We Care Club Stephen Njoroge has urged the government to allocate more land for tree planting. Njoroge, 12, said the country's low forest cover can be increased by planting more trees.

Njoroge was speaking last Friday when President Kibaki planted in Limuru. The President marked his 81st birthday by planting trees on Njoroge's plot in Limuru.

Njoroge led a team of locals, friends, Body of Christ children home and Kamirithu Polytechnic students in celebrating the birthday where they planted 81 trees and cut a cake in his memory singing birthday songs to Kibaki.
