Kenya: Lions Off to Bright Start in Play-Off Quarter-Finals

KCB Lions started their play off quarter-finals in style whipping Masinde Muliro University of Agriculture and Technology (MMUST) 72-55 at Upper Hill School grounds.

Kenyatta University just failed to upset the top seed Nairobi Aviation College (NAC) going down 59-61 in a closely fought lower division duel. Job Byron nailed the winners 12 while Renny Moibi scored "Pirates" 10.

Upper Hill urged on by their fans hit Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA) University 49-42. Kenya Airports Authority KAA) clobbered Umoja 56-33.

In the Nairobi Basketball Association finals at Railways Club, Equity Bank beat Strathmore University 51-44 in Game One. The ladies finals saw Kenyatta University beat Strathmore 56-49.
