Kenya: Change TNA Poll Day Date, Nyoror Says

Kiambu governor aspirant James Nyoro has criticised TNA decision to hold party nominations on a working day. He said the nomination should be done on a weekend to enable more party supporters to take part in choosing their candidates.

Nyoro said many people will not be available to vote in the nominations on January 7 because they will be working and ensuring that their children are in school.

He was addressing University of Nairobi students at the YMCA in Nairobi on Friday. He urged TNA supporters to register as party members to choose the right leaders for the county.
