Angola: Ambassador to AU Highlights Nation's Positive Indicators

Addis Ababa — The Angolan ambassador to Ethiopia and in the African Union (AU), Arcanjo do Nascimento, Monday here said that Angola is recording positive indicators in the increasing of people life expectancy, in the fall of infantile death rate, as well as contention and control of great endemics, Angop has learnt.

The ambassador said so when commenting on the UN Development Programme report that set Angola in the 10th position of the development list of the African nations.

Arcanjo do Nascimento said so under the commemorations of the 37 years of country independence marked on November 11, adding that the Angolan Executive, led by t0he President José Eduardo dos Santos, have been done its best for the improvement of people living standards

The Angolan Executive do not save efforts so that Angola accomplishes the goals to reach the Millennium Development Goals, he said.
