Luanda — Angola's Minister of Family and Woman Promotion, Filomena Delgado, on Monday here considered that the integrated system of gender indicator (SIIGeneo is very important because it helps in the insertion of protection and divulgation of information of statistics and analysis of planning of actions on gender in the country.

The official said so during the official presentation of the integrated system of indicators of gender, adding that the presentation is part of the commemorations of the African statistics, adopted in 1990, by the African Ministers of planning and economic development.

The mentioned system has as motto To make that all women and men produce statistics to improve the results of development focused on the gender statistics, due to the inequalities and matters related to the women insertion in the various sectors and domains of social and economic development.

According to the Minister, SSIIGenere works as a software of collecting, treatment and production of statistics data in social, economic and political areas and is a contribution of the Ministry in the materialization of the theme.
