Liberia: Veteran Liberian Educator Receives Highest Honor

Mrs. Bessie Marshall Mulabah and Principal David Pinder received the "The National Blue Ribbon Award" for McKinley Technology High school on November 13, 2012 in Washington DC.

Bessie Mulabah is a Mathematics teacher at McKinley Technology high School. Over a period of five years, there was tremendous growth in the students test scores.

Their scores increased from 50%, 50% in math and Reading to 92%, 91% in Math and Reading.

Bessie is a graduate of the following instructions: College of West Africa, University of Liberia (Bsc. Mathematics Secondary Education), George Washington University in DC (MSc. Mathematics Education).

She is the wife of Mr. Camah T. Mulabah, a mother, and a grandmother.
