Namibia: Tswazis to Launch 'Step By Step'

House, Kwaito and RnB group Tswazis will launch their debut album at the end of the month.

The group which consists of three members, Ou-Ziit, Raxa and Eldazz, are best known for their smash hit single 'Vanaand', which has already received major air play both on radio and television.

Their video for the song 'Step by Step,' has also recently debuted on the internet and local television.

Eldicko Geiseb (Eldazz) and Reinhardt Pieters (Raxa)) were previously backup dancers for the popular Exit and Mushe. After three years in the music industry as dancers, they decided to try out their singing skills. They matched up with their childhood friend Milton Mootseng (Ou-Zitt) who is a songwriter, together they formed the group. Tswazis refers to a Damara/Nama slang word that means close buddies. The trio make a special genre of music that fuses Kwaito with traditional Damara/Nama (Ma/Haisa) music and R&B.

Artists that feature on the album include Dixon, Adora, Exit and !Oubasen.

The album launch will take place on Friday, November 30, at Club Fountain in Katutura.

Entrance is N$50 at the door.
