Members of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) chapter of Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) have accused the leadership of the union of using underhand tactics to run the affairs of the union.
Aggrieved members who spoke to Daily Trust yesterday said that nearly two years after the inauguration of the Caretaker Committee led by Mr. Samuel Azaba, the welfare of staff has not improved, calling for immediate congress of the union so as to decide the union's future.
They also accused the union's leadership of being insensitive to their plights.
When contacted, president of the union, Comrade Samuel Azaba, said the allegations were carried by mischief makers who lost out in an election carried out by the union, stressing that all he had done was according to the statutes of the union.
