Angolans At Woodlands International Festival

Houston — The Angolan General Consulate in Houston (Texas), United Syayes of America, attended over the weekend the yearly Woodlands International Festival, with an exhibition of contemporary arts, handicrafts and tourist guide books.

On the occasion the Consulate promoted the Angolan Nation through exposing the country's socio-economic and tourist potential.

The said yearly festival is attended by more than 20,000 people among locals and tourists from across the world.

Those who visited the Angolan Consulate stand had the opportunity to participate in contests that focused on knowledge about the country.

The purpose of the event is celebrate the cultural diversity of the Woodlands community, offering the participants the opportunity to interact with the cultures and traditions of other peoples of the world through arts, handicrafts, cuisine, music and entertainment.
