Tunisia: International Conference, in Tunis, On Trade Unions' Role in Democratic Transition in Arab Countries

Tunis — An international conference on the role of trade unions in democratic transition in the Arab countries opened works on Monday, in Tunis.
Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Deputy Secretary-General in charge of External Relations Kacem Afiya told TAP news agency that the two-day gathering aims to shed light on the important part played by unionists in the revolutions that had taken place in several Arab countries and in carrying out the democratic transition.
