Tunisia: New Approach Aimed to Implement Model of Privileged Relations in Francophone Space - Benguigui

Carthage — President of the Republic Moncef Marzouki received, on Monday, France's Deputy Minister for the Francophonie Yamina Benguigui.

The French Minister said her visit in Tunisia was part of "boosting bilateral relations," a communiqué from the Presidency of the Republic reads.

Mrs. Benguigui also added that France had adopted a new approach to Francophonie, one that notably rests on entrenching cultural and academic co-operation and respects peoples' peculiarities and their identity.

The aim, she underlined, is to contribute to the implementation of a model of privileged relations in the Francophone space based on the principles of partnership and equality.
