Kenya: Groups Who Wear Veils Being Forced to Removed Them to Be Registered

If you wear a veil you will not be allowed to register as a voter unless you remove it.

MPs claim Members of the Akorino faith,nuns,muslims and other groups who wear veils are being forced to remove their veils in order to be allowed to participate in the exercise. The MPs also want the Justice Ministry to clarify on other key issues on the registration process.
