Christmas came early at the Sarova Hotels as two of their hotels the Sarova Panafric and Sarova Whitesands, hosted their annual cake mixing event recently.
The event is a Christmas tradition involving in-house and invited guests, Sarova management and pastry chefs and media. They all lend their hands in mixing the cake flavours and a variety of ingredients, under the watchful eye of the food and beverage director Shailender Singh.
The mixture is then sealed and stored to marinate for six weeks prior to the baking of cake. Weekly, the mixture is tended so as to keep the flavor alive. Finally on Christmas day, a sumptuous cake is shared by all to celebrate the festivities.
