Kenya: Strathmore Whip Nazarene in Inter Colleges Basketball

Strathmore University thumped host Africa Nazarene (ANU) 64-18 in the University and Colleges basketball league matches played at ANU over the weekend. Quinter Odongo led the winners with 16 points while Purity Shelly made 9 points for the host.

In other matches, Strathmore men beat Co-op 57-23 behind 20 points from Edwin Otula.Gyslaine Uwimana shot 16 points to guide United States International University (USIU) Flames whipped Daystar 70-24 in a one sided show.

Mount Kenya University (MKU) lost 44-48 to Multi Media University (MMU) as Gatson Simidi made 14 points for MKU and Ray Nyatome 18 for the losers.

Kenya Polytechic beat MKU 40-23 as Jackline Daudi scored 15 points, ANU 30 Kenya Poly 37, Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) 27 Usiu 60 ; Daystrar 46 Co-op 28 and Cuea 42 Daystar 29.
