Sauti Sol have finally come out to defend one of their latest releases Range Rover after it was criticised by some of their fans as one of their worst releases.
According to Bien Aime Baraza, the song was not for the Kenyan market. "Being international musicians we record music for various audiences and it just happened that Range Rover was not for their Kenyan audience. We however really appreciate our fans sincerity and it is in that way that we know what exactly they want,"Bien told Word Is.
Sauti sol, who were on Saturday awarded Chanel O's most Gifted East African Video alongside Tanzanaia's AY for their collabo I don't wanna be alone, are at the same time enjoying airplay for their new song Money lover.
"We are very glad that we won the award and seeing that we are actually the only Kenyans who won makes us quite honoured. We are now going to shoot the video for the new song,"said Bien.
Sauti Sol is currently rated as one of the best bands in Kenya having travelled across the globe thanks their music. They have three albums so far; Mwanzo, Sol Filosofia and Sauti Sol.
