Kenya: Man Denies Threatening to Kill Mum

A man has been charge with threatening to kill his mother in Kerugoya. Peter Karimi denied the offence before Kerugoya senior principal magistrate Teresiah Ngugi.

He allegedly committed the offence November 4. The court heard that Karimi threatened to kill his mother Joyce Wakuthii with a knife. He allegedly said he would throw her body into a pit latrine.

He also faces a second count of preparing to commit a felony because he was found with a knife. He is also said he destroyed a gate all valued at Sh50,000. The case will be heard on December 3.
