Angola: New Swimming Federation Board Elected

Luanda — A new board of directors for the Angolan Swimming Federation (FAN), headed by Mário Fernandes, was elected Monday in Luanda for a four-year term (2012/2016), Angop learned.

Replacing Antonio Monteiro, the newly elected boss obtained a total of nine votes from various clubs and associations around the country.

Mário Fernandes who was part of the outgoing board, will be assisted by two vice-presidents, Ana Cláudia de Lima, Pedro Mbindigani, and Joaquim Pestana as secretary general.
