Uíge — The Angolan singer André Firmino "Kialele" announced Tuesday in the district of Bungo, 81 kilometres north of the capital city of northern Uíge city, the intention of releasing his first CD entitled "Nsieto ya Toma" which in Portuguese means "Our country is free".
Speaking to Angop, the author said that the CD has eight tracks, adding he lacks funds to release the album. The singer highlighted that the already written tracks are "Nsieto ya toma", "Tudibokieto Nguandiamatuana", "parte barço", "atravessei o rio kwanza com canoa de árvore no tempo de Guerra", "Ndolo ku voto", "povo de Angola Coragem para ter progresso" and "Ngunga y bondele teunda ku Sambo".
The artist informed that the songs urge the society to promote love, contribute to the consolidation of peace and encourage the population to participate in the various activities for the development of the country.
The songs are sung in vernacular language Kicongo and Portuguese.
