Cameroon: Human Rights Situation Presented this Wednesday

The National Commission on Human Rights and Freedoms will on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Yaounde Conference beginning from 9:30 a.m. officially present its 2011 activity report, as well as its 2011 Report on the State of Human Rights in Cameroon.

The informantion is contained in a press release from the Commission.

The Report on the Situation of Human Rights in Cameroon, 2011 reviews progress achieved in human rights within the ten regions of the country in line with the observations and investigations conducted by the Commission as part of promotion and protection of human rights. Following a thematic approach, this report delves on the situation of civil and political rights; economic, social and cultural rights; the situation of rights of vulnerable groups and special issues.
