Tunisia: Hunger Strikes in Prisons - Commission to Be Set Up

Tunis — A multi-disciplinary commission made up of doctors, judges and experts in medical ethics will be set up to follow up cases of hunger strike in prisons. This has been decided at the end of a working session held on Tuesday in the premises of the Health Ministry and attended by consultant physicians in teaching hospitals as well as delegates of the Interior and Justice ministries.
