Arusha — An Angolan multi-sector delegation is since last Tuesday attending in Arusha, Tanzania, the meeting of Political Co-operation, Defence and Security of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), aimed at launching the Strategic Indicative Plan for Regional Development (SIPO).
The Angolan delegation is being led by the director of the Secretariat for Political Co-operation, Defence and Security, Sandro de Oliveira, and comprises technicians from the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Home Affairs, Mass Media, Defence, as well as the National Police.
The Angolan delegation also includes Angolan diplomats accredited in Gaberone (Botswana), SADC's headquarters.
For four days, the SADC experts will analyse aspects relating to the implementation of SIPO, which is already in its second stage.
