Rwanda: Karaoke Night Heats Up Pizzeria Down Town

KARAOKE lovers on Tuesday night turned Pizzeria Down Town, located in Kigali city centre, into a music scene when Caroline Nderitu, a renowned karaoke host in Kigali, led revelers in singing various songs.

The event dubbed, 'Carlsberg Karaoke Night', started at 7 pm and it attracted a sizeable number of revelers, who participated in the singing.

Nderitu and James Onyango proved to be the stars of the night-as they brought Pizzeria Down Town down with their singing prowess.

Some of the popular songs performed included, Hello, Shape of My Heart, Endless Love, From this moment and So unbelievable, among others.

Speaking before the performance, Nderitu said she always enjoys herself when performing and encouraged guests to enjoy their night by daring to sing.

The highlight of night was a final draw, in which the best performer walked away with a voucher worth Rwf15, 000.

The night also catered for non-karaoke lovers. Soccer fans did not miss the game between Chelsea and Juventus, which Chelsea lost 3-0.
