He wants to turn from a Crane to a Star. He will not honour his home nation's national team call up for the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup due to his deep affection for his adopted nation and above all, his new home has crowned him the best of them all.

"My future is in Gor Mahia, I want more years there. I feel happy, a good coach and good fans so I do not feel like going everyone. Now, I do not have to talk about myself. Being the best player in Kenya means I've doing well and it is not a mistake," Ugandan born striker Dan Sserunkuma said shortly after he was declared the Tusker Premier League (TPL) Footballer of the Year.
