Nigeria: 10 Qur'anic Competition Winners Get Scholarship in Jigawa

Dutse — The Jigawa State government has awarded scholarship to 10 students who emerged winners of various categories of the Qur'anic recitation competion that ended in Dutse yesterday.

Special Adviser to Governor Sule Lamido on Chieftaincy Affairs, Religious and Sharia Imp-lementation Alhaji Isah Ahmad Duniya Bahutu announced this at the closing ceremony.

He said the students both males and females who won first positions in the five categories of the competition will get automatic scholarship to study in Saudi Arabia.
