The National Youth Forum has told its members to go for the county representative position in the general election.

At the same time, the forum has called on its members to support their own and ensure they capture all the county representative seats in all the 47 counties.

"These are powerful positions in the devolved governments which will enormously help us improve our lot," Emmanuel Dennis, the convener of the national youth sector alliance said.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Machakos youth forum at Lysak hotel in Machakos town, Dennis said the message has been sent to the youth countrywide and has been received well.
