Angola: Master's Degree in Languages Enables Emergence of Qualified Staff

Luanda — The Chancellor of the Agostinho Neto University, Orlando da Mata, considered Wednesday in Luanda that the opening of Master's courses in languages at the Faculty of Letters will enable the emerging of new qualified staff.

The official made the statement after the opening ceremony of Master's course in languages organised at Camama University Campus, stressing that the country will gain specialized staff with the opening of this courses.

Orlando da Mata believes that the candidates to the courses of Portuguese, French, English, African vernacular languages and philosophy, soon will train other generations of youths that will serve Angola.

The Chancellor said that the objectives of these Master's courses are to form not only students but also teachers, adding that he believes that for an institution to improve their teaching quality it needs to have differentiated teachers.
