Police are interrogating three terror suspects in connection with Sunday's blast in Eastleigh. PPO Moses Ombati says they are however yet to arrest the masterminds who are believed to be in the country. He says the explosive was assembled in the country.
Seven people were killed and 24 others seriously injured after an explosive was detonated in a mini-bus in Eastleigh's 2nd Avenue on Sunday afternoon.
The death toll rose to 10 after three more people succumbed to their injuries at Kenyatta hospital on Monday. The incident sparked off two days of violence as an angry mob from Mathare started attacking Somalis and Somali shops in Eastleigh soon after the bomb went off on the bus on Sunday at 4pm.
