Amr Moussa, head of the Conference Party, called on Thursday upon political powers to meet in order to take a stance regarding the constitutional declaration President Mohamed Mursi decreed today.

On Twitter, Moussa described Mursi's decisions as "a new massacre for the judiciary and a defiance of popular will".

These measures will result in "drastic developments" that require a unified stance from national powers, Moussa said.

Mursi issued a constitutional declaration on Thursday sacking the prosecutor-general and immunizing the Shura Council as well as his own decisions.
