Kenya: Smashing Young Professionals Gala Night

The League of Young Professionals, a meeting platform for youth professionals enjoyed a gala dinner at the Sarova Stanley Hotel on Saturday evening.

The guest of honour, Chief Justice Dr Willy Mutunga, shared with the young stars that "by calling ourselves professionals, we must reflect on the ills affecting other professionals". He also challenged the young people to accept the will to serve and embrace the spirit of philanthropy as a means of giving back to the society.

Another invited speaker was Sasini MD Dr. Ceasar Mwangi who encouraged the young people to develop themselves. "The greatest mountain you will ever have to conquer is yourself. Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts."

Philanthropist Eric Kimani also encouraged the young professionals. The event was emceed by Volunteers for Africa CEO Simon Wachira and Josephine Ndambuki.
