Angola: Sonangol Wants to Overcome Staff Shortage in Oil Industry

Luanda — Angola's Oil Company (Sonangol) wants to overcome the staff scarcity in the sector through the implementation of external scholarships, says a note delivered Thursday to Angop.

According to the source, the programme is intended to achieve the goals set by the company in the coming years.

The document also stresses that such scholarships are designed for the subjects of Engineering, Geosciences and Applied Social Sciences.

The assignment of the referred Scholarships for the year 2013 will be announced through the media organs, the lists of the candidates to do the psychometric tests from 28 November to 8 December 2012, the note underlined.

The registration phase, which began on 29 October closed on November 9 this year, the source concluded.
