Angola: State Secretary Announces Construction of Seventeen Teachers' Training School

Luanda — The secretary of State for Training and Professional and Technical Education, Narciso Damásio dos Santos Benedito, announced on Thursday, in Malanje Province, the construction of seventeen teachers' training schools.

Narciso Damásio dos Santos Benedito made this announcement when speaking in the public television (TPA)'s informative programme dubbed "Bom Dia Angola", in the ambit of the commemorations of the Teacher's Day, whose main ceremony is happening in Malanje.

According to the official, this project is part of a medium term development that the education sector submitted to the Executive, in which it is outlined that one teachers' training school has to be built in each of the country's eighteen provinces.

In his opinion, the authorities are conceiving infrastructures that have facilities like laboratories, pedagogic training programmes for the trainee teachers.
