Angola: Maria Eugénia Received By Namibia's Parliament Speaker

Luanda — The chairwoman of the Dr. António Agostinho Neto Foundation (FAN), Maria Eugénia Neto, was received Thursday in Windhoek by the prime minister of Namibia, Nahas Angula, and by the Speaker of that country's parliament, Theo-Been Gurirab.

Maria Eugénia Neto also visited the Heroes Monument.

Since Wednesday in Windhoek for a visit at the invitation of the Namibian Head of State, Lucas Hifikepunye Pohamba, the chairwoman of the Dr. António Agostinho Neto foundation was received at the international airport by the director of Bilateral Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country, Kakena Nangula, and by the minister-counsellor of the Embassy of Angola, Guido Castelbranco.

The minister-counsellor represented the ambassador Manuel Alexandre Duarte Rodrigues "Kito" and received from the press attaché, Chana de Aragão, newsletters in Portuguese and English with the latest news from Angola and the world.

Afterwards, the delegation went to the presidential residence where she was received by the Permanent Secretary of the Office of the President, Samuel H. Goagoseb.
