Angola: Brazil Intends to Cooperate With Nation in Legislation Field

Luanda — Brazil is interested to cooperate with Angola in the legislative field, to make it easier for both peoples to better integrate the policies of the Executives.

This desire was expressed by the ambassador of Brazil to Angola, Ana Lucy Petersen, while addressing the press, after an audience with the speaker of the National Assembly, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.

The diplomat said she discussed with the speaker of Angolan Parliament the possibility of legislative cooperation between both States, advocating for that purpose, reactivation and revitalization of the Parliamentary Group between Angola and Brazil, while essential nucleus to outline the core strategy of this cooperation.

Ana Lucy Petersen lamented the fact that the group did not meet for a long time, and is therefore, essential to push for a new dynamic in its operation.

"I believe there are many steps to this new cooperation, because the conditions are selected and fitted. Let's start to contact Members of the two countries to see if we can meet and discuss the options for this exchange," she asserted.
