Nigeria: FG Issues Mining Licences to Chinese Firms

The Federal Government yesterday presented mining lease licences to two mining companies from China for mining in Bauchi and Nasarawa states.

Mines and Steel Development Minister Musa Muhammad Sada presented the licences to the firms, Merssrs Tongyi Allied Mining Limited and Multiverse PLC.

Director General of the Mining Cadastre Office, Mohammed Amate, said while introducing the two companies that Tangyi Allied is engaged in the exploration of Gold, Silver, Copper, Tin, Columbite, Lead/Zinc, among others, while Multiverse is involved in quarrying and mining of mineral commodities.
