Prensa Latina: More than 3,000 Deads in Angola by Traffic Accidents

19 de Novembro: Angolan authorities expressed here today concern at the occurrence of 14,226 traffic accidents from January to October this year, which caused 3,693 deaths and 13,760 injured. Angelo Veiga Tavares, Interior Minister, said the figure represents an increase in the number of mishaps on the road in relation to previous periods.

AFP: Angola floods kill six: reports

15 de Novembro, 2012: At least six people have died and hundreds of homes have been damaged amid heavy rains that have drenched Angola since the start of the week, local media reported Thursday. In the capital Luanda, a four-year-old died when a wall collapsed, Tito Manuel of the civil protection told the state-run Angop agency.
