Egypt: Morsi Delegates Mekki to Attend D8-Summit

President Mohamed Morsi delegated Vice President Mahmoud Mekki to lead Egypt's delegation during D8-Summit in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad.

Morsi decided to stay in Cairo out of his keenness to follow up latest developments in Egypt along with the implementation of a ceasefire between the Palestine and Israel, said a Presidential statement on Wednesday 21/11/2012.

Pakistan showed Wednesday a warm welcome in preparation for the visit which Morsi was supposed to make before eventually delegating Mekki.
