Supply and Internal Trade Minister Abu Zaid Mohamed said on Wednesday 21/11/2012 wheat stock is enough for 6 months consumption, sugar is enough for 8 months, rice for 6 and cooking oil for 3 months.
Flour stock on the local market is at safe level, said Abu Zeid.
In press statements, he added that reports coming in from the supervisory departments indicate that all bakeries in Egypt have enough stock of flour for at least 2 days with bakeries in remote areas have enough supply for 5 days.
