Egypt: Interior Minister - We Shall Not Tolerate Attack On Interior Ministry

Interior Minister Ahmed Gamal Eddin said that rioters will never be allowed to storm the building of the Interior Ministry; the body in charge of providing security to the whole homeland.

He asserted that damaging the Interior Ministry means damaging the entire homeland and spreading panic among the public.

Gamal Eddin told a news conference that instructions were given to officers to exercise maximum self restraint, adding protestors are few meters from the ministry, which will never be allowed to be attacked.

He explained that the security forces are fully aware that some of those attackers are only seeking bloodshed in these events.

Gamal Eddin said his ministry has spotted all saboteurs and riot inciters and they will be arrested soon.
